Vignesh weds Sudha | An eclectic mix of rituals

On a whirlwind of two days, we saw the romance of Vignesh and Sudha blossom! Unlike a very culture/religion centric wedding packed with rituals, this wedding was entirely different, as it had the right mix of fun, auspiciousness and intimacy.

The gala started out with a bright start of Baaraath evening, where the groom arrived in style on a chariot, to Ambassador Pallava followed by a retinue of frolicking relatives, torch bearers and band! This beautifully transcended into a formalized Maappillai Azhaippu function that had the couple’s close relatives in attendance.

The next day was the wedding which was held at Raja Muthaiah Hall, Egmore. This was entirely ritual packed and the couple shined through the entire morning with splashes of loving looks and gentle laughs as they were left to find the ring inside a pot!

The evening that followed was the reception, and the couple dressed in semi-formal and elegant sari-suit combination that really gelled very well for the degree of formality that it demanded.

We experimented with the venue’s natural lighting, colors and in turn, got some amazing candids! This wedding stays close to our hearts, just for the sheer importance given to the emotion of love and the institution called marriage!
