Maths is always a Tuff job for creative people, in this particular event we were barely into the logics,
a person needs minimum 8 (eight) years of vigorous training on Bharathanatiyam for his Arangetram, but for Natya Sankalpaa run by Bharathanatiyam exponent Smt. Urmila Sathyanarayanan it was 100th Arangetram in just a period of 20 years. So where did the logics go, for setting up records its not the logics but the Magic and effort that works.
Records are always set to be broken, but breaking it by own-self is something a very rare phenomenon, and Smt. Urmila has done it, and we had the opportunity to photograph and treasure an event of such scale. On the evening of 25th June, the Music Academy was filling with smiles and anxiousness, we the camera crew were over thrilled and anxious to swirl around. As its known that Foto Zone and its team excels in Classical Dance Photography, we were already on the rite shoes.
The event started and we were more thrilled as there was 100 different things to explore,
as a part of the event, there was a performance by 100 dancers on the same stage, it was simply WoW. Every dancer clad in a Green lined White saree entered with the traditional Namaskaram,
and the rest was simply mindboggling. There was a rhythm when 100 danced on the floor,
there was no single fall back from one another, and was meticulously tuned.
We team Foto Zone were on the swirl, where we captured some of the best mudhras, the best part was we caught every movement, in rite time and rite angle.
People who were on their seats were literally on their edge and there was a great self control with everyone, and they were forcefully controlling their Hands from clapping as it would disturb the feat.
For us from FotoZone it was a treat, as we got an experience of capturing 100 different performances at a single place.
And Finally, let our photographs speak about the marvel. Thanks to Smt. Urmila Sathyanarayanan and Kumari Prarthana Krishnakumar for giving us the one in the lifetime opportunity.
